Summary

The computer science department's women's forum, which led by Prof. Noa Agmon and a group of female students, was founded in order to promote female students to progress in the technological fields. The forum's activity is aimed at middle school and high school students in order to expose students to the technological professions and attract them to choose a technological major. For this purpose, the department, in cooperation with the forum, holds conferences for female pupils in the field of computer science and brings to campus schools which have geographic proximity to the university. The activity is also focused on the female student population through meetings with successful female figures in the field such as a lecture with the former CEO of Microsoft, and on creating mentoring program in which former students help new students.
